About me

As a licensed therapist in the San Diego area, I have over 40 years of professional experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient programs, private practice and also provided counseling services for the Navy for 24 years. In my many years practicing, I have learned to meet my clients needs with empathy, compassion and strategies to help them move forward.

I have notable experience in helping clients with issues related to anxiety and depression, women’s issues, grief, generalized life struggles, adulting and coping skills. Other areas of specialty include working with people in transition including integrating better balance, managing life stressors, rediscovering wellness, and mid-life changes.

My aim is to collaborate with you regarding your priorities for treatment in order to helping you set achievable goals for your mental health while focusing on solutions to difficulties.
